Sasuke's Sword Skills: Good or Bad?

So my questions is why did Kishi make Sasuke a swordsman over the time skip if he gets outright fodderized by everyone when he uses it? It defeats the whole purpose of making him a swordsman if you ask me. His skills are mediocre and hes just embarrassed time after time again even with his sharingan precognition, so he must terribly bad without his sharingan, probably won't last 10 seconds in a sword fight without it. I don't think he's ever killed anyone with his sword. He's never beaten anyone with his sword so why the hell does he have one? I'm glad he no longer has it in the upcoming Naruto vs Sasuke fight because using it would just increase the shame he already has. He needs to stay as far away from that sword as possible if you ask me so I hope he left it in the Kaguya dimensions.

He looks cool using it but he only destroys fodder with his sword skills. What he displayed against blind madara was embarrassing.

I agree. I liked Part 1 Sasuke before the sword. I think the sword was just Kishi adding something to him over the time skip for show. I do think he's better without it. He already has chidori spear so he really doesn't need that sword.

You picked up the parts he got 'owned' mind you against some of the strongest shinbois in CQC. Where is the panel he blocked Mifune again, killed 1000 ninja with pure kenjutsu, blitzed multiple samurai or held his own against Bee? With nitpicking anyone can make someone look bad, if i put the panels which Tsunade failed to heal Dan or her lower half she would look like a bad medic nin, or with the panel Gai got overpowered and punched by Kisame he would look like a lesser taijutsu user despite the 2 i mentioned are the best in their fields.

First off he's 17 years old and has only been using a sword for about 3 years all those shinobi you said bested him have been using swords way longer than 3 years, madara lived to be damn near 100 years old, bee is in his 40s at least, and itachi is the solo king. Skill is not the difference because he fodderized said and samurai who specialize in swords, experience is the difference and you only gain experience through time.

Lion's Barrage is still one of my top 3 favorite moves from Sasuke.
