Be serious, everyone. Lets consider for just a second that Danzo would be okay with this situation, and wouldn't try to take Shisui's Mangekyo. Do you think Shisui could make a good Hokage?

He's got the heart, just not the wisdom.
Like naruto.

Now itachi would make a good hokage minus his finite number of battles possible before blindness... (Even though most of his battles will be won with out ms)

The time period I'm talking about is around the Uchiha Coup d'etat. So, Itachi would be too young.

Shisui may be just a bit older than Itachi (Ranging from at least 2 years, to maybe at the very most 5). But he does have a dangerous reputation (Considering Ao recognized him by chakra alone, Danzo referred to him as the strongest Uchiha, Hiruzen had faith in him to stop the coup d'etat). He has Susano'o (Game only, but Kishimoto himself did design it, so I consider it as if Shisui ever did unlock Susano'o, it would be that one. And Obito's eyes activated Susano'o, so you can't do the no Tsukuyomi/Amaterasu argument). He's probably one of the fastest normal characters in the series (i.e, no godly powers or Jinchuuriki techs, but he might even be as fast as Minato. Maybe.).

Well yeah, I think he would based off the evidence you used. I'm sure he was also on equal terms with Itachi mentally, too. Konoha's safety was very important to him and he felt a great loyalty to it. He'd be a lot like Minato in my opinion.

Edit: auto correct mishap

Incorrect. He's at least 5 years older than Itachi, probably more. He was around 18-20 when Itachi was 13. He was a jounin with his own team. He wasn't a child, but a young adult.

No one ever referred to him as the strongest Uchiha. The only thing we get close to that is when Itachi is stated to be the most elite and talented of that generation...while he has 3-tomoe and Shisui is older and alive with MS. Shisui was referred to as being the best genjutsu user simply because at the time he was the only one with MS and he had a once-a-decade one-shot, KA.

In the databook, Minato was stated to be the fastest character. Also, Shisui was considered fast during that time. What was his competition then? There were nearly no op characters alive in NV during his time. Itachi and Sasuke also have ridiculously fast shunshin in their base modes.

ot: He'd be okay, but not the best. He wouldn't be the most powerful, but him being hokage would turn down the contempt the Uchiha felt towards Konoha. It would have been a better option if Hiruzen had decided to make him Hokage to be honest. His personality is similar to Minato's as well, so the village would probably be happy with him if they gave it time.

It wouldn't be a bad decision, we could say that. But I can't explicitly say he would be great due to how little we know about him as a character.

No.

The uchiha are proven mentally ill. They can't be Hokages...

How was Shisui mentally ill? If anything, he was the only Uchiha who was actually normal.

Than again, he might've used KA on himself to make him sane.

He has the mindset for it, and Itachi did praise his ideals after all.

He'd make an excellent Hokage, and so would Itachi. Unlike other members of the Uchiha Clan (i.e. Madara, Fugaku, Obito) who fell victim to the Curse of Hatred, Shisui and Itachi never once submitted to their clan's tragic legacy, due to their love for their village, which they placed above everything else.

Though they may be young and inexperienced, Minato was quite young as well, yet he left quite a mark as the 4th Hokage. Itachi, was mentioned by the 3rd Hokage to have had the mindset of an experienced Kage during his childhood years, and that's saying alot. Considering Shisui and Itachi were well-known within the Uchiha Clan for their remarkable abilities and intelligence, it stands to reason that Shisui would likewise possess a similar mindset.
