Why does Tokyo Ghoul make me Hungry?

I decided to start reading the manga and everytime I read it I get so hungry

What is up with that? My stomach starts growling even though they are eating human meat.

Ah, well, there was this scene where Kaneki was eating all sorts of foods which was surprisingly well animated, especially that hamburger that he liked so much. The hype... plus all the "meat, meat, meat!" i think is enough to make anyone hungry.
