Kakashi as the Sixth Hokage - where do you stand?

It's a simple question.

Many of us have read and followed the manga for many years now and have been waiting for it to come to an end. Now that The Last has been announced as the first of "a new era" - what that means is yet to be expounded upon - so I'm curious. Where do you stand?

Personally, I'm disappointed Naruto won't become Hokage. I couldn't care less if Naruto becomes Hokage in the anime, movies or video games, the fact he won't in the manga leaves a foul taste in my mouth. If someone were to get into Naruto and ask you if he ever becomes Hokage in the manga and you tell him "no, not in the manga" - then I wouldn't be surprised if that puts them off.

he should be hokage but he doesent have the brain smarts for it kakashi and sasuke are logical choices to be hokage but obviously after what sasuke has done thats not gonna happen

I already knew that logically it wouldn't happen since part 1, I just couldn't see it happening with that attitude of his.

The supposed "smart" people of the shinobi world are responsible for its troubles to begin with, and I remind you that Kakashi has been just as forgiving towards Obito as Naruto has.

As far Sasuke is concerned, he hasn't pushed Naruto into making a decision between saving him and the greater good. Kakashi tried to reason with Obito even while he was getting his ass kicked, and only decided to fight him when it became clear that Obito wasn't going to stop. Naruto issued Sasuke his last warning before the war, and now they're only just about to start fighting. We don't know how that's going to go, Naruto isn't going to kill Sasuke, but that doesn't necessarily mean he lacks the resolve to do it.

They made Gaara Kazekage because at the time they did not trust him, so they put him in a position of power so they could further restrain him and keep a closer eye on him.
Naruto has the trust of his village so there is no need to do the same for him, but only that, but remember they are both different villages, different rules.
