[Discussion] Does anyone else think that Kaguya was under some kind of possession?

Naruto notes that Kaguya was abnormal. Hagoromo is not even sure what caused her to changed but it had something to do with eating the Shinju fruit. Black Zetsu noted that there was some kind of fusion between her and the Shinju. The Tree itself did talked to Madara.

I don't think Kaguya was possessed though.

It's not a final transformation of the ten tails that information was confirmed in chapter 681. According to Black Zetsu the ten tails is the result of a fusion between Kaguya and the Shinju.

If that was the case then why was Obito still it's Jin after the Tree appeared and ect?

I think the two are separated now as implied by the Rabbit separating from the Gedo/Juubi. I think Kaguya was trying to break free of the Shinju's influence when the Tailed Beast first tried to separate.
