I dont care whether hes close or not, the fact is you admit that current Sasuke cant defeat peak Madara. Thank you

When they say that the younger generation will surpass the older one, it is by age.

Sasuke is able to reach the ocular level of a man who has almost 80 years of experience at the age of 16-17.

The only reason why Sasuke progressed faster is because everything was gifted to him. Orochimaru cursed seal, sage, Itachi dieng on purpose which lead to MS activation, EMS, Rinnegan. The list goes on...
The only thing Madara was ever gifted was Indra's chakra.... wait did I forget to put that on Sasukes gift list?
