Yes, it would be terrible because Kakashi has never expressed any desire to become Hokage and he would essentially step in at last minute when it should be Naruto who succeeds Tsunade. At this point the shinobi world has never been as united as it is now and Naruto has played a significant part in that. He has surpassed all those that have come before him and it would only make sense he realises his dream now, not later, and if it can't be now, then Tsunade should stay until the time is right for him to become Rokudaime. Kakashi is still young and would make Naruto wait a needlessly long time if not decades.

Part 3 won't be part of the manga, even if it is canon, and it's not even guaranteed to stay under Kishimoto pen or supervision in the long term so that doesn't mitigate any concerns or complaints. It would also be a disjointed experience for fans because, as far as they're concerned, Naruto never realised his dreams in the manga, i.e. their time has been wasted and they have been misled for years.

Kakashi is almost certainly Hokage, haha. Not making fun, he deserves it. Naruto will be the 7th, it seems.

Sooo, this begs the question: what's happened to Tsunade's reign? She just decided to step down? Imagine if instead of Sasuke killing the Gokages, he'd be content with them handling over the Kage title to someone else...
