I think italics visual prowess would allow him to tell the deference between a wood clone and the real thing. After all in the fight with madara madras had reached his limit. And itachi wouldn't allow it to go that far knowing he's been known to one shot even those who are edo and posses the rinnegan (Nagato).

Madara's power of eyes > Itachi's power of eyes.

Having a MS doesn't mean you can tell Hashirama's clone apart. You need the eyes on the level of Uchiha MAdara, even Izuna couldn't tell apart Hashirama's clones.

This is my favorite post on NB. So simple, yet so smart.
Nothing.Sasuke acomplished nothing.Madara simply regenerated and continued soloing.
There is NOTHIng Sasuke can do to win against one eye Madara ,let alone 3 eyed Maddy.
He simply lacks the firepower to put him down with the Shinju

This is a stomp in Hagoromo's favor to be honest. Not necessarily an unholy godstomp in like 3 seconds or anything.
But he takes this without any large difficulties. So I'd say hagoromo stomps him with a 7.
