Is Shisui faster than Minato?

People call Shisui the teleporter for nothing, so does it means that he is faster than Minato

People always "FTG is instant" or something when these guys are compared; the thing is, Shisui's foot speed was instant, which is why people called him "Shisui the Teleporter" (teleportation is instant).

In short:

Shisui > Minato, in foot speed.

Shisui = Minato in speed in general.

Itachi's faster than both of them, though, as confirmed by the manga.

He only said that so he could still look badass. If Itachi hadn't said "Behind you", B would have been Shunshin blitzed. And Tobirama doesn't stomp Itachi in any department.

Yeah there's this XD Shisui kind of got owned. But maybe it was because he got caught off guard? Still though they don't call Minato Kanoha's Yellow Flash for nothing.

It's really hard to say. We can assume Shisui is really fast concidering his nickname. But we don't have any actual feats to go on so I am going to give the speed feat to Minato. I am not even factoring in FTG here just speed/reaction time alone. It was enough to keep up with Aye who is concidered the fastest shinobi alive currently (well at least until Naruto and Sasuke got their power ups.)

Minato was regarded as the fastest man alive in his time. Shisui was alive in his time. He is therefore inferior.

Well there isn't any manga scan of this. But this is coming from the Anime filler Shadow of the ANBU Kakashi. I don't even know if it was mentioned in the manga who killed Shisui other than Itachi which we found out was a lie.

We do know that Danzo had one of his eyes. So you can consider that filler canon of sorts if you will.

well body flicker isn't instant, its a high speed movement. FTG is instant. A uses an amplified body flicker technique with his chakra nature and minato still dodge so its shows minatos reflexes are amazing. minato was hailed as the fastest in the history. no one in the manga as of yet is faster.
i would say shisui is as fast as A

Minato was acknowledged by all the speedsters of his time and even surprised all those who were never alive in his era...
IMO that's enough praise...

All in all Shisui's Shunshin was just depicted as a proper/better version of the Shunshins most shinobi do...


P.S. Minato's also praised in his base speed department... Probably not the best, still one of the best at foot speed also...

Minato was faster than Ei who was faster than Amaterasu. Shisui being known to use Body Flicker=/=Being the fastest.

Shisui got owned by Danzo. That tells me he was nowhere near being even as fast as a Minto w/o FTG.
