[Discussion] When was the last time you watched/read something that entered your top 5?

For me it was a few days ago when I saw Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann which entered at joint first and just a few days before that was The Irregular at Magic High School light novels at 5th.

I feel so good right now.

That changed my life for ever it's such a good show but bad manga so I refuse to read it and to talk about it to any one who reads the manga (which is like everyone aka the people who say they are anime and manga fans but only watch the English dubbed) cause they ruin it for me

The Irregular At Magic High School for me too. I started watching the anime in June, then I started reading the LN's afterwards, and now I've been a fanboy ever since lol.

Manga ? Nothing surpasses my faves, but I haven't ready anything new other than my faves .

Anime ? Probably Tokyo ESP , Terror in Resonance and Tokyo Ghoul .........but I hate ranking anyways .

Don't watch Code:Breaker's anime. It's ending is filler and overall isn't that great. I haven't read the manga but I've heard it's pretty good.

OT: HxH is my current #2 and I started watching that around 1.5-2 years ago. And AnoHana (not sure about a ranking) and Blood Lad (again, not sure) are definitely up there. I watched them in the last year or so.

HxH is great but it doesn't make it into my top 5 personally. Haven't seen AnoHana or Blood Lad though.

Tokyo Ghoul just jumped up to my top 5 manga and I started readibg it after the anime dropped. Sad the manga is over so soon, but no manga's ending has made me think as much as Tokyo Ghoul's. I think its because so much was left to the imagination, so much was left open. I loved the buildup, I loved the tragedy, I love the ending shrouded in mystery. Ken Kaneki was an amazing main character as well.
