There are 4 gamblers each wearing a cone. The aim of the game is to correctly identify the colour of the cone they are wearing. If they do they will double the money they staked, and if they are incorrect they will lose all their money. All the gamblers know is that there are 4 people wearing the cone and that there are 2 white ones and 2 black ones. They can also only see the person(s) in front of them and are not allowed to turn around.
I.e C can see B
D can see C and B
A and B cannot see anyone as their view is restricted by the wall.
Who if any of the men can with 100% accuracy say what colour cone they are wearing? and by what Logic.
Edit: rep to whoever gets it first.

Correct answer
C.
D can see C and B, but doesn't know his own hat color.
B can't see anyone. A isn't aware of anyone, either.
That leaves C. C knows he is wearing a black hat because if D saw that both B and C were wearing white hats, then he would have answered. But since D is silent, C knows that he must be wearing a black hat as he can see that B is wearing a white hat.
