I personally don't see Sasuke losing here.. If Sasike lose, he'll definitely become the next Madara and that's not his goal. Sasuke wants what happened to Itachi to never happen to anyone again, but he's just going about it in the up most retarded way possible.

Kishimoto once said( recently), that Sasuke is. 'Pure' meaning he's not evil or good. He beloved what he do is right and very little compromising..
