I believe he really connected with naruto at that time. Hes not heartless, he cares deeply for him as a friend

He tried to kill his friend twice as I remember ... He might have connected now as sauce know that naruto felt the loss of bond.... But still he is gonna try to kill him again anyway

I think he might actually try to talk him around to his side first and don't forget a lot of the hate Sasuke had is gone, this is about for him creating peace his way he feels that fighting Naruto is a something he has to do and even before he was trying to kill Naruto to break his bond with him.

Now instead of trying to kill his pain he is forced to face Naruto as a sort of sacrifice and that is very different.

But I really think the fight will either end with Sasuke losing and running off or him beating Naruto, not able to kill him and running off, I do think the movie will be about Naruto saving Sasuke.

Yeah, Sasuke is definitely going through a lot of depression. His declaration of revolution is more like a delegation of suicide. Basically, he wants Naruto to put an end to his internal suffering.
