Not sure on this (it may seem irrelevant), but if Madara didn't use God: Nativity of a World of Trees would the people affected by IT just be stuck in genjutsu?

God: Nativity of a World of Trees because that's what connects them to Madara/Kaguya I believe. That is what takes the chakra, brings it back to Kaguya and turns the shinobi into White Zetsus. I think all IT does is put people in the dream world.

He has the Rinnegan and the Sharingan that can see color by chakra. He's seen 4 of the Kages before and Tsunade has huge reserves compared to most who will be in the same area as the other Kages. They wouldn't be that hard to find.

I was about to say that. Obito already showed that the god tree can suck out people's chakra quickly. They should be living off the god tree's chakra now.
