So I don't see why it'd be a big surprise, besides the Uchiha have caused the shinobi world alot of trouble..from the uchiha clan's plan to betray the village, to Obito releasing the Kyuubi on konoha and starting a war, to Sasuke joining Akatsuki and almost killing Bee, to Madara planning all of this stuff and capturing the world under his genjutsu, I'd say that shinobi world feels like they've had enough of the Uchiha and their antics...even though the Uchiha are the most EPIC characters ever

If he dies like boss, i wouldn't mind, but i doubt Kishi would kill Sasuke off, since the cycle of hatred would continue on forever, and he wouldn't kill off the most badass bloodline in the series.....

And i also doubt he would let Sasuke become another Obito or Nagato or even worse...... Gaara, Sasuke is one of a kind character and i don't think Kishi will give him a recycled plot, he will use another approach, death is unlikely and TnJ won't work.

But i would vote a awesome death 100 times then see him become another Gaara

Yeah Gaara is lame now, he gets worse and worse everytime he talks..he's almost to the point of Hinata status, where everything that comes out of his mouth involves Naruto-kun (literally and figuratively). Normally I would just drop the manga if something like that happened. But being that this is the last fight it'd be too late to drop it and Kishi would have the last laugh as the last 9 years of my anime life went to waste.

I recently watched the episode where Team 7 first reunited with Sasuke and he was talking to the Kyuubi and he was so mysterious and badass but now he's all lovey-dovey with Naruto and it just butchered his character for me..that's why I am not throwing away the possibility of Kishi destroying Ssasuke's character...

OT: If Sasuke has a badass ending, I wouldn't mind a death. But if he is just going to end up being a D rider like Gaara, or end up being like Naruto was towards Sasuke all throughout Shippuden, I would demand an end to the series.

Off topic: Or what would be really amazing is, if the manga itself ended before the final fight ends, and the movie, The Last, is set in a time of war, Naruto's side vs Sasuke's side hunting eachother down.
