OT: I think it's gonna be something involving his sun seal or a really strange injury from the upcoming fight.

I have thought of injuries but he heals from injuries in minutes or at most hours, It wouldnt make sense for having an injury for years

plus with recent upgrade he can create eyes out of thin air

I have thought of injuries but he heals from injuries in minutes or at most hours, It wouldnt make sense for having an injury for years

plus with recent upgrade he can create eyes out of thin air

Oh, good point. Well Idk then. I'm skeptical about the eye thing cause Naruto taking out eyes sounds way outta character. So I think it has something to do with his seal. Maybe the seal becomes another source of power for him and he releases the bandages to use a different power.

yes, a seal, possibly to keep so many eyes suppressed, he didnt have any seal on shisui's eye

His rinnegan is needed to dispel tsukuyomi, so in the event sasuke dies without changing his ways, it will be needed

I thought he just needed the seal on Sasuke's hand? The Sage said all they had to do was put they're seals together. I don't see why implanting Sasuke's Rinnegan to himself would help.

Maybe Le Sauce flames his arm and it is taking a while to recover, either that or maybe a shotgun blast of Rasenshuriken (some sort of last ditch variant), that would take a while to recoop from considering its properties it had on base naruto.
