You should love someone for who they are despite their flaws or how much money they have in the bank. For better or for worse, right? They are your partner. You handle decisions together. No one's perfect.

Most important things are being funny, intelligent, kind, and driven. Someone I could sit with in silence without it being awkward. Someone who is my best friend first and I feel I can tell him anything without being worried about being judged.

There are a lot of things I look for. One, above all, is honesty. I can't have a real friendship if I don't trust the girl, and I'd rather not even try things out if the girl isn't capable of being a close friend before being my partner. So, that being said, she has to be a close friend before anything else. Why? A relationship is nothing more than a close friendship, with certain benefits .

For instance, I want to be able to talk about the new GoT and Walking Dead seasons with my love interest, and I also want to be able to discuss my future with said person. I want to be my goofy dork self and not feel weird about it, and so much more. I want to be able to reveal my personal interests that I'm not too comfortable talking about with most people, and I want her to be interested. There's a lot more to add, but YOLO.
