I agree, Back when Naruto was a dumb idiot. I felt there was no hope for this show. It was Sasuke's coolness that kept me watching and taking this manga seriously. He is a eye candy for anyone who first gets into this show. He made this show serious and not goofy. When Kakashi asked team seven what there goal was when they first joined the team? Whose goal stood out the most? It was Sasuke's.

That's really dependant on your taste, as i found Tobi and the Akatsuki to be more interesting that anything else that has happened, every since Madara there's been too much retcons, now its just one more long ass fight in the same location

This is exactly how I feel to be honest. Ever since the Edo Akatsuki left the manga for good two years ago, I haven't been too interested in the manga anymore. I know alot of people who dropped the manga after the Edos dissipated and Tobi took off his mask as well. I'm not even all that hyped for the Naruto vs Sasuke fight. Sasuke's reveal last chapter didn't even excite me much, I was just like "ok", a little more interesting.

ot: Yes, Sasuke does make things more interesting. As interesting as things can get now, I guess. Which still isn't much. Especially knowing that he'll fail, since Gaara is still alive years later for "The Last" sketches.

Good job op, I agree. Whether Sasuke's decision is right or wrong really doesn't matter. Sasuke made the story that much more enjoyable. Sasuke always make the story more interesting with every twist and turn.

He is a one-dimensional character and has not changed from the beginning (still a narcissist EMO). One-dimensional characters are not very interesting.

In contrast, I prefer a character like Jiraiya or even Tsunade. Tough, honorable, but with different facets to their character (e.g. successful writer, spy, gambler, heavy drinker, etc.).

Here's the rub. Sasuke isn't wrong. The entire concept of this manga has been that the elder generation screwed everything up. Even Hashirama admitted Madara may have had a point about the current system Consider that. Hashirama wasn't like "Yeah screw that". The previous Hoakge all admitted that they ****ed up Just stop and consider that.

No one should really be hating on Sasuke at this point, regardless if you agree with him or not, he just made the manga exciting, mostly the last 30 chapters have been boring and shitty, but now the whole revolution has changed Everything, even though Sasuke will probably lose, i'm still enjoying the ride so far, I wanna see where this whole thing goes

I feel the same way; regardless of whether you liked his character or not, I'd say the series is a lot better with him than without. Especially considering Kishimoto initially hadn't intended to have a rival for Naruto, I must say he's done a magnificent job creating a character whose beliefs and motives operate in stark contrast to Naruto's.
