Kurama isn't a "free power up"

A "free power up" is something given to you instantly in exchange for nothing, so, considering Naruto was forced to give up his mom, dad, and a normal life (from birth) and it took 16, almost 17 years to gain control of Kurama's power and even longer to earn his friendship to unlock his full capabilities, Kurama's power was an incredibly difficult thing for him to acquire and therefore can not be considered a "free power up"

Seems you've been listening to fans. Being a jin is not a easy life. Only power up, that can be considered "free" is Kakashi's sharingan or Obito's temporary gift to Kakashi. Other than that, almost every other power up involved some form of sacrifice or specific conditions; I may be wrong.
