The Shinju's fruit is always shown as a source of power in the manga.

But could there be another possibilty that the Fruit is a sealing stone ?

The Shinju's fruit is shown to be bigger than Kaguya. It will really take a long time for her to eat such a huge fruit.

Also, the size of the fruit shows that a being could easily fit inside the Fruit.

Moreover her hand posture shows that she was trying to break a seal.

In Hagoromo's memories; the Fruit is shown like a Sealing stone.

Right after her interaction with the Fruit, Kaguya gives birth to Hagoromo and Hamura.

But, Kishi never told us who was the Father of Hagoromo and Hamura.

If Kaguya's husband was sealed in the fruit, it would explain why Kaguya is so obsessed with the Fruit.

That she does not seek it once.

But, seeks it twice.

And, even Thrice.

Her obsession with the Shinju's fruit would be logical if she wanted to free her husband. That is the "Power of Love".

All Chakra being One Argument :-

The Shinju's fruit only ripens when all chakra becomes one.

Which shows that the fruit is a source of power.

But, what if "All the chakra becoming one" is actually important for the breaking of the seal ?

The fruit ripens every 1000 years.

To me, it seems the Shinju gathers chakra and Natural Energy to achieve this.

But, with Infinite Tskyumoni, it seems the process could be sped up.

And the Shinju's fruit could Ripen prematurely.

What is interesting is that the only people with the knowledge of the Shinju's fruit are not sure what it actually signifies.

Madara is unsure about the true meaning of the Fruit.

And, even Hagoromo is unsure about how the fruit corrupted Kaguya.

Here "Kaguya eating the Fruit" is general perception; so the actual meaning is that something happened when Kaguya came in contact with the Fruit. It shows that Hagoromo does not know what happened when Kaguya went to the Shinju to get the fruit.

Just a little tinkering with the idea, Thanks for the read.

It was implied that its a fruit and that it was eaten. Since its a magical fruit, you could possibly magically eat the whole fruit immediately?

where does BZ come into this? I'm curious about his origin
BZ was Kaguya' will. But, at the same time, he is Kaguya's son. It's pretty weird, but I think both BZ and Kaguya's goals were the same, i.e; make the fruit ripen.

I don't know how the fruit can be magical. The concept of Magic was never introduced in the manga. Btw, if the fruit was big and turned small, why would it be shown to be so huge ?

from the theory you have written here..I understand that the consumption of fruit will only make some one want to have more power..The fruit make some one greedy...That's why in the tradition no one touches the fruit.

That's just a depiction of kaguya and the fruit.
Madara read that story from the stone tablet (obv) and the stone tablet is just consistent of words.

Madara's version of the legend was the first one to describe the events regarding Kaguya and the Fruit. So, I think Kishi wanted us to think that it was completely true. Moreover, the image is consistent with how the fruit should be.

The Shinju is very enormous.

The branches shown in the image below are actually the Shinju's roots.

The Bijuus in comparison to the Shinju's roots are like Flies. Lol

So, it's safe to say that the Shinju is very Enormous.

For such an enormous tree, to produce such a small fruit which can be eaten by Kaguya breaks logic.

So, it's safe to say that the Fruit also was enormous, at least as big as Kaguya.

To me it seems, the tablet has more than words on it............

An interesting concept but I'm not buying it. It seems to be a lot to gather from those few panels man. I never noticed that the fruit was that big but I don't think it's because it's a sealing stone as well. Why would Kaguya's husband be sealed in the Shinju? It was said that the fruit was bred every 1000 years, so why would this man be there for a 1000 years? How would Kaguya know that? It leaves too many other questions.

Plus, the fruit was said to hold power. Kaguya wasn't trying to break a seal, she ate the fruit for power. The power to crush her enemies and she wanted it all for herself. I.e, she wanted all chakra to be one with her just as it was before. Seems unlikely to me that a lover of Kaguya would be involved :yeah:

A pretty good read though, never would have thought of something like that myself.

The inner structure of the fruit is like stone, as if it is covering something and preventing it from coming out. Perhaps, the Demon was sealed in the fruit and it may have influenced Kaguya to free him.

What's weird is that If we consider the fruit to be a source of power, why would Kaguya try to re-create the fruit again ? She would obviously ensure that the fruit is never re-created, so that others wouldn't get the same power by consuming the fruit.

If there are others with the fruit's power, then those people would be a threat to Kaguya. Not, to mention, Kaguya wanted all chakra for herself, she never wanted to share it. So, if she consumed the fruit, she would have ensured that the fruit would never ripen again.

But, she does the opposite of that which is pretty suspicious.

I think the assumption about the size of the fruit is far-fetched...It may be just the way Kishi drew it. And I think Kaguya's hand approaching the fruit is simply reaching out for it. You may say that she faced the fuit with her palm, but it just reminds me of the ancient Egyptian paintings. I think it's just the drawing style.

This actually shows how it's not far-fetched.

Indeed. I was discussing that With SDO, and I personally think there is a reason behind the Fruits Size, I was going to make a theory about it along With Spiral Zetsu, but Im too lazy atm Lol I like Your theory though! Sooner or later we will learn about Hagoromos father.
