Alright, have a major question for those in ItachiBase, considering you guys probably know as much about Itachi as I do about Danzo. Now than, this is NOT bashing in the slightest, I just kinda wondered;

Why did Itachi kill the infants/young children of the Uchiha Clan?

I'm pretty sure there would be at least a couple. Maybe five, at the very least. In the episode "Coup D'etat", a few Uchiha kids are seen playing on the monitor. I know that's filler, but still.

Cause if Itachi was trying to make Sasuke stronger, and make him believe that Itachi was just trying to test his strength, than he should've left the kids alive. Sasuke doesn't go completely loner, Konoha keeps a few Uchiha, and Itachi's 'testing my limits' speech makes more sense because he didn't kill those that couldn't defend themselves.

I'm starting to think Obito did it, maybe to stop Konoha from having a way to subdue Biju...but than again, he made no move against Yamato.

I guess. But if Danzo or Hiruzen ordered ALL of the Uchiha to be killed, that was pretty stupid of them. "Hey, let's have all of the Uchiha killed except for one kid who will be so traumatized he probably won't be any use to us anyway!"

I'd hate to see what would happen if they got into another war and had to rely on Naruto (who isn't trained at all and hated by Konoha), Sasuke (Who was heavily traumatized and probably didn't get any psychiatric help), Yamato (who seems to be the only capable one, but probably can't take on two biju), and Kakashi (Who can barely last using sharingan against Zabuza.)

Honestly, do you have to be retarded to become High-Ranking in the Leaf Village?

Even so...Since they had to go through with the Massacre, Danzo and Hiruzen could've taken full advantage of that shit.

And Sasuke only found out the Massacre was planned because of Obito, and because of the small inconsistencies he began to notice after learning the truth.
