Sound genjustu wont effect him as it will just bounce across the water without taking effect. Same with Katsuyu. They pretty much dont have actually ears anymore to be effected.

You assumed that Sakura can safely and reliably summon the slug when getting assaulted by 6 people. Yet Kimi, kido, and Taya are already proving enough to prevent the summon. Furthermore you still have no check to sound genjutsu, as your fix doesn't prevent sound genjutsu but helps get Sakura out of it, which still leads to her being immobile for a duration.
