Can you forget jutsu?

I was thinking about this, and I found it odd that we haven't seen someone forget how to do a jutsu they learned. Do Naruto characters all have good memory or what?

When it's a matter of life or death to use techniques as quickly and efficiently as possible, this doesn't happen often, and when it does, that ninja doesn't survive long enough for anyone to see it.

Haha! That's funny, I would probably forget them all the time. But it does seem like most shinobi only have a few main techniques that they use often so it shouldn't be too hard to remember 3 or 4.

Lol I'd love to see a spin off Naruto series just showing Academy students so we could see them forgetting jutsu.

I've often wondered about that too.

People forget things all the time, singers forget the lyrics to the songs they wrote, if you know too many jutsus you may start to forget some.
