OT: Sasuke wants to destroy the Bijuu. That way, the world is free of war over said Bijuu. That way, he can re-establish the ninja world, in his own light. He wants to eradicate the Bijuu because war brings chaos and pain. The Bijuu's power is the main contributor to why wars occurred, they were power struggles. It makes sense.
