If a slave lived for hundreds of years and they only seen the bad in people do you think they are wrong for viewing everyone bad? As you can see anyone who suffer from nothing but negative interactions with someone or something for years would grow up to hate or not care about it. Humans are destined to kill Humans, this is a real life fact and is seen in mangas. Well that's what Madara plan involved, he targeted the humans not the Bijuus, he only used the Bijuu. Humans turned Chakra into a weapon when it was said it was meant to connect everyone together. Many movies even emphasize that humans destroy humans such at the terminator 2, the day the earth stand still or actual news.

The Sage said the Bijuus were meant to be protectors but things didn't turn out like that and we know it's because people saw them as weapons.

Gaara killed the sound nin and Kurama killed Minaro and Kushina because they were about to imprison him again, if you try to actually see things from someone else's point of view, it's pretty reasonable.
