You are not even reading are you? Just skimming, I have mentioned numerous times that he IS the core. He can't stop the gravity without destroying himself. He can't even break the rocks for the simple fact he won't be able to move. In all honesty he would probably suffocate to death.

If it was a gravity orb then just being near it would be enough to kill a person.

Its countering the Earth's gravity so it would be unbelievably strong.

So more then likely its not Gravity related and simply draws rocks to its target, also the gravity has never been shown to effect anything but the ground, if it did then when Kaguya was sealed everyone would have been dragged into it.
