Alright so as we know Naruto vs Sasuke is underway in a few weeks, but one thing I notice is that people constantly asking what Sasuke's endgame is since he needs to undo IT.
The answer lies in this panel
Sasuke's goal is to kill Naruto, and to simply use the tailed beasts plus his Rinnegan. He doesn't actually need Naruto, or at least it seems that way.
Sasuke as we know is very cunning, and has probably developed a complex strategy to ensure his victory, as Indra's previous transmigrant, Madara, did to cast IT. I am going to try to uncover that strategy today =D
So within the recent chapter, we have come to discover the likeliness of Sasuke's Rinnegan being on par (or even stronger) than the regular Rinnegan throughout the manga, due to his massive demonstration of CT, a power we assumed he didn't have because he only used the "shift" against Kaguya.
With that being said, how does Sasuke ensure victory over Naruto? Is he just gambling that he is stronger or more skilled than him? No that's not like Sasuke. What if Naruto accomplishes touching the seals? Does Sasuke just give up? No. The answer is: More power!
So if we assume Sasuke's Rinnegan is capable of the normal powers, then this becomes a key point of the manga:
Yep, like Madara could upon awakening the Rinnegan, I am willing to bet Sasuke can summon the Gedou Mazou if necessary, which was sealed once again into the moon. (Albeit in another dimension, we aren't sure as to what the limits of this summon are)
Also, Sasuke is an analyst, it's just in his character. Naruto saw the seal for Obito to draw in the Juubi, so it's very likely Sasuke also saw the seal with his sharingan (who was running towards Obito), and thus could replicate it. He would have especially noticed it if defeating Naruto was in his plan all along
The practicality of becoming Juubi-Jin during a battle? Madara was able to seal all of the Bijuu very quickly when they weren't restrained. Obito also was able to seal the Juubi within himself within seconds as well. Sasuke would be able to do it alarmingly fast if given the opportunity.
So Sasuke's endgame? He doesn't need Naruto due to the tailed beasts and Rinnegan being available to him. If Naruto overpowers Sasuke, the Juubi is available to give him more power. If the IT becomes undone? He can overpower Naruto and the 5 kage as a Juubi Jin.
Conclusion
Sasuke will become the next Juubi Jin if necessary. It's powerful, it's clever, it's very possible, and Sasuke should be well aware of this possibility after seeing two other Uchiha Juubi Jins. Sasuke could win by essentially becoming whole (Like Madara tried) with the Juubi Jin mode + Rinnegan, overpowering Naruto, and dispelling IT after he kills the 5 kage.
This also fits in perfectly with Kishi's theme between present Naruto and Sasuke. The final battle to determine the path of the world is between the Psuedo Juubi Jin, and the actual Juubi Jin. (Power through cooperation vs unity through dominance)
tl;dr Sasuke is capable of becoming Juubi Jin and may be his ultimate trump card against Naruto.
Anyways let me know what you think! What do you think Sasuke's plan to overpower Naruto is?
Edit: This isn't a Pro-Sasuke thread. Sasuke needs a plan to win, otherwise he isn't smart. This is just a possibility of what his endgame or even a trump card could be
