It kind does. Well except for the rasengan out of it, which I suppose it could if it was just encasing him in rock, but its making him a central gravity point. Anyhow, it makes sense as this sword right here, is within Narutos arsenal.

He broke it before he has his power-up. Saying he can't break it now is like saying Sasuke can't use Chidori anymore because we only see black lightning chidori. Both statements make no sense.

He wasn't the core before. Merely being sucked into it. Now imagine if he becomes the core. Gravity will be pulling at himself he won't be able to move. It's doubtful that he would even be able to deactivate Ashura mode but it may be possible if chakra does not have a mass.

Naruto casually dodges Kaguya's S/T, Sasuke's jutsu is virtually useless against Naruto.
