Why does Sasuke want to kill Gaara? He is in the generation Sasuke is in. He didn't cause war like the past Kages did. He's been Kazekage for a few years. Why execute Gaara?

sasuke has been completely in the dark on what the kage have done together since the war. he comes along just like madara and obito thinking he knows whats best. but bc of them it forced the world to move together.
he probably doesnt care either.

he must want to be the supreme kage. even if he fails, what if he gets people to agree with his goal? obviously kage killing is too far tho.

When you look at his plans for the future to create a system unlike the current one, they're totally different indeed [Its more like he's planning to unite everyone under one banner - Doubt there will be a need for Hokage in that moment]
