Well that isn't true Hagoromo did it to stop the Indra and Ashura thingy. He made the choice to give Ashura all of the powers. Indra was jealous. Hagoromo wanted to try something else and split the power to see if it works

Well, Naruto is his backup plan. It's very obvious that Naruto believes he can win. Even if that is just Naruto's personality, Hagoromo seems to agree with him.

We only know what naruto talked to hago but kishi hide sasuke part .last chapter he revealed some but it will fully revealed in future.i still confused hago talked to obito or not

Also fans would have never forgiven Kishimoto something like that. The manga is about Naruto so Sage is plot restricted even as True God.

Kishi already showed how Sasuke stopped right away after Sage's blocked his way and Sasuke was smart watching Sage's chakra running out so when he is low enough on chakra then Sasuke made his move... He is just sneaky bastard.

Anyway I can't wait for their's battle and I hope it will be not one sided
