Early Ages​
Nagato was very strong even in his early ages! Not only did he master all techniques that Jiraya taught him, but he even mastered all 5 elements when he was only 10 years old!

Nagato - before becoming a God​
Before Nagato became the god, we know today, he still had exceptional power- putting Hanzo and his army to shame-the man that single-handedly defeated the Sanin.

The Hype​
Nagato has been hyped through out the Manga as a God, being invincible, and as the strongest member of the Akatsuki. Nagato was a God. He was such a Legend, that people asked themselves if he even existed!

He was able to destroy the old Hidden Rain village by himself. Just look at Jiraya's face.

Obito says that Pain invincible.

Konan states that Pain is unbeatable.

Nagato was even hyped by Zetsu.

Nagato's fearsome abilties​
As a God, Nagato has some of the most powerfull abilities. He was able to wipe out Konoha in seconds.

He was able to push back 3 giant toads out of Konoha

His lesser verion of Chibaku Tensei was already multi-mountain level.

At full power Nagato easily defeated KCM Naruto and Killer Bee.

Additionaly Nagato was able to create powerful lazers/rockets, had telepathy skills, could revive people and take their soul out, could absorb chakra and jutsu's, could use any of the 5 elements, could summon tons of Summonings with special abilities and so on.

Madara's appearance was during the same time as Hashirama appearance, so during both of their revival Madara was the stronger resurrection than Hashirama.

Hashirama was respected as a god because he was the only one able to bring down EMS Madara, yet people didn't know the full motive behind that fight as well.

So in essence, it should be Nagato<Obito<Madara in terms of god.

Sorry, I worded it wrong....

but did you see what Madara used on the alliance?

they considered him Godly

It's by who is responsible for who, is the order that I put it in.

Hashirama > Madara

Check Chapter 656, Edo Hashi immobized Edo Madara.

And living persons > Edo versions, as Madara stated.

Ya, I saw him try to pin him down with and use naruto for back up.
