In Sasuke's case after waiting sometime he subjugated nine bijū simultaneously by genjutsu...(he paralyzed them and he did not controll them) A very good feat indeed and then he used the Chibaku Tensei...

In Madara's case we should not forget that Kurama and Eight Tails had their Jins (and we know when a beast has a Jin is stronger, so they where more powerful than the ones Sasuke defeated) so Madara didn't just beat the 9 bijuu but also the 2 strongest Bijuus Jins too!

Some say that Sasuke's was quicker than Madara's solo but Madara extracted the Gyūki and Kurama from their Jins and that's why it took a little bit more time.

So it's not the same case/thing. For me Sasuke (and I like Sasuke) did great but Madara did more!

Second, he straight away killed Naruto, Sasuke himself and soloed the Hokage's afterwards. Sasuke's way was good, no doubt. But we've seen Obito and Madara one-shot a Bijuu with Genjutsu.​

Sasuke didn't need Gedo Mazo.

The Gedo Mazo is part of Madara's asernal and his goal was not to seal them but to create the Juubi once more! If he wanted he could use Chibaku Tensei too or Wood Release to supress the Beasts!

Hagoromo didn't give Sasuke a Rinnegan either. He gave him the Rikudō no Yin no Chikara, the moon-seal and his chakra which is the source of the Rinmegan. Sasuke had to awake it after all. Madara on the other hand needed nearly his whole life to achieve the Rinnegan.
