How does one support Sasuke's plan, but not Madara's?

Because he'd have to kill everyone that ever opposed him, just like Stalin did. While Madara's peace was a lie (he wasn't even enslaving them, he was giving them their deepest desires, and that's all he intended), Sasuke's so-called peace would be shit.

That's just you jumping to conclusions. Everyone else knows they're to weak to oppose Sasuke once the kages are gone. Sasuke just wants to demonstrate what a real leader should be like. He wants the village Itachi desired, where people don't fight it's peace through force but peace nonetheless. Sasuke isn't the type to feed his ego like a stalin dictatorship, I don't know where you get off comparing them in 1st place. I really don't care if you don't agree but Madaras plan of enslavement into a tree(matrix 2.0) doesn't sound to good to me

I'm here all week :]

But all in all, Sasuke has not shown any evidence of wanting complete domination over the people. He wants to get rid of the imbalance of power and kages who have shown evidence in being incapable

Then what after that, just let the world continue in anarchy?

A really leader doesn't need to kill all who oppose them to gain power or followers, a real leader makes people want to follow them.

The thing I don't get is, why are people claiming Sasuke wants peace? Has he ever said I want peace? All I have ever heard him say is I want to destroy this system, and we see how he is doing it.

When did he say he was going to kill all who oppose him? He's not trying to kill the Gokage because they oppose him...

No, he's trying to kill him because they could just like with Naruto.

No, he's trying to kill them because he believes they are part of the problem the world faces. That's the whole point.....

Then it's revenge? Then it's impeachment without process or democracy? Just the whim of one person? They oppose his new system, and hold the will of the nations.

His path leads to tyranny, no matter what his reasons are.

Isn't his reasoning for killing them that their choices caused the current situation
He probably wants to start from a clean slate
Again, this is all speculation on his motives. He hasn't said them yet, so we can't know for sure

Except it wasn't their choices, it was their predecessors.

And I for one, do not care where it leads.

Because Madara's plan turns everyone into white zetsu while Sasuke's plan ensures peace and stability via revolution.

Madara didn't know that and Sasuke's plan ensures peace and stability via dictatorship.

I think it's because even though Madara's goal would technically bring world peace, he was doing it for himself first and foremost.

Sasuke might be a little bit more extreme, but he's doing it because he genuinely believes it's the right thing to do.

I bought so at first, but then Madara's line "I won't let you take away everyone's happiness" would tell me he genuinely wanted to help everyone and be the savior.

I think he was just trying to appeal to his opponent. He was constantly trying to justify himself.

I don't think so, he intended to kill them, he would have nothing to gain by appealing to them.
