Now before I get into it, remember this: Madara did not know that the infinite tsukuyomi would turn everyone into white zetsus and essentially kill them (so please disregard this aspect of the jutsu since this thread is more about the ideology and theory behind the plans rather than the tiny details).
Anyway, as we know, Sasuke wants to start a revolution to fix the system of the world. The first phases of this revolution include killing the 5 kages, killing the bijuus and killing Naruto. Here is the problem with this plan:
None of this would solve anything really. I already made a thread earlier about why killing the bijuus would be ineffective at creating peace.
If you haven't read the thread, the gist of it is: Shinobi have always fought over other sources of power besides the bijuus such as the Hyuuga's byakugan during the Hyuuga affair, secret kekkei genkais, forbidden jutsus, secret scrolls, etc... It is this lust for power that creates war, not the bijuus. The bijuus are just another source of power that the villages craved. Killing the bijuus won't kill the lust for power and war will still continue. Therefore, Sasuke will have accomplished nothing but killing 9 innocent creatures.
Besides all of the information listed in the above thread, there is also the fact that even if you were to eliminate power in general, humans would still make war over things like land, money, natural resources, etc... Just look at the war in Iraq! Can you honestly say that if Sasuke kills the bijuus, that neighboring countries will just all of a sudden stop valuing other nations' agricultural land? Would the death of a giant chakara monster really have an effect on one country's desire for oil? I think not. Therefore, the part about killing the bijuus would be totally useless.
Sasuke also wants to kill the kages. Now first, I would like to point out that some of those kages are innocent and did not have any part in starting wars. Gaara is just a teenager and was not even born for any of the previous wars. Mei is implied to be pretty young herself (young enough to not have been involved in starting any of the past wars). Tsunade is old enough to have had involvement in the wars, but she only just became hokage about 3 years prior to the current time in the manga. Therefore, she had no say whatsoever in the starting of the previous wars because she was not a kage. She was just a normal shinobi participating in them.
Even for the ones who did start wars (Onoki and Ay), killing them would solve nothing. Sasuke most likely wants to kill them because they would oppose his efforts to take over the world. Also, without them, the shinobi world would be in need of new leadership. Sasuke then plans to be that leader. (Of course this is also why he wants to kill Naruto. If Naruto is dead then, he can't be chosen as the leader of the shinobi world and he can't oppose Sasuke.)
However, even if Sasuke does kill the kages and Naruto, Sasuke could not stop warfare and discrimination and other problems like that even if takes over the world using raw power. Nations will still value other nations' land, money, natural resources and other things like that. This will bring about tension and war. Sasuke may try to quell the war with pure power, but then that will just make the nations mad and make them try to attack Sasuke.
Then those nations will get wiped out because Sasuke (without Naruto in the picture) will be the strongest shinobi on Earth. The cycle of destruction will continue and Sasuke will just be seen as a tyrant. He will be no different from Kaguya.
Then, what about when Sasuke dies? The world will still just keep on fighting over all of the stuff that they have always fought over. Nothing will change.
As you can see, Sasuke's plan as of right now is seemingly totally illogical and useless. It accomplishes nothing.
The infinite tsukuyomi however (minus the white zetsu transformation) would put everyone in their own respective eternal blissful dreams where they can happily do whatever they want for all of eternity without ever harming another person. This method eliminates war, poverty, discrimination, hierarchy, etc...
Furthermore, it is permanent, which means that it (unlike Sasuke's plan) actually accomplishes the goal of peace.
For those of you that say it is fake, you are wrong. If I see, feel, hear, taste and smell myself eating a cookie and my body actually gets nutrients (because the tree was supposed to keep you alive, thus taking care of all nutrient needs), then for all intents and purposes, I ate a cookie.
If you argue that this is just electromagnetic pulses within the brain, so is real life. In fact, objects don't even actually touch. The whole reason that you can even "touch" and "feel" things is because of electromagnetic interactions between the particles in your body and the particles in the object that you are "touching". The actual atoms however, make no contact. The same thing applies to all of the other senses. It is all electromagnetism.
Therefore, dismissing the infinite tsukuyomi as fake has no validity.
conclusion: Infinite tsukuyomi creates true peace (minus white zetsu effect) while Sasuke's creates no peace. How then, can people support Sasuke's plan and not support Madara's?
