I didn't want Sasuke to follow this path, but it seems he is hellbent on it. Just when I was thinking/hoping things could return to normal, Sasuke pulls a 180 claiming he will destroy the world over.

You have a point. But this fight is also an appeal to fans. many people, including me, have long wanted to see this fight. And it's more about the two representatives of two opposite views/ideals clash. It's rather symbolic, I'd say. And that's why I think powers or feats don't matter this time. Naruto and his ideology will win, due to plot. He is the revolutionary who will lead the change, he is the child of the prophecy.

How can he not see that 2 Uchiha who were significantly stronger then him (Madara, Obito) who also had roughly the same idea/plan as Sasuke failed...horribly. Not to mention Pain also wanted to rid the world of war with his Renningan and what happened to him? Oh yea that's right Naruto whooped him in Sage mode, so for all the Sasuke Fanboys, his ideas are copies of previous more advance characters who failed...and by all means please argue where Sasuke has a fighting chance?

Yeah Sasuke's character is probably one of the best in the series, it really shows the opposite of Naruto's which is pretty good. I'm excited for the fight myself, but I didn't want it to be this way. My hope for a happy ending seems unlikely now, unless Naruto's miracle TNJ works.

Are you trying to say that Sasuke will die? If that happens than Naruto would have failed on his mission to peace. Also it would end like his past prodecessors. Which I highly doubt will be the case.

Either one of them may die, if Sasuke continues to want to destroy the world that is. I don't know how Naruto will win Sasuke over when he is basically ready to destroy the world for his goal. I wanted Sasuke to return to the village for Naruto's goal to be accomplished but after this I can't see Sasuke being reasoned with, so that's why I say miracle TNJ.
