FINALLY. I am impressed with this chapter. 12/10. Best one since 2011, easily.
My thoughts:
-Naruto ending that way did not make sense
-Sasuke's abrupt "about face" NEVER MADE ANY SENSE
-Sasuke always had his own agenda, from episode 1. It was killing Itachi, then avenging Itachi. Then destroying Konoha. Now it's overthrowing the ninjutsu system.
-Sasuke's burn it down... this whole twisted system comment was a CLEAR indicator that he had not "changed" as NB had speculated
-Sasuke is not evil AS the current KAGE created this war, this system, ABUSED the tailed beasts and absolutely DESTROYED their own world by driving mankind to the BRINK OF EXTINCTION
Naruto is a naive child, as Sasuke states. Madara and Obito are right about the world, in the sense that MANKIND DESIRES WAR. That is the true nature of mankind on display. Killing the Kage IS NOT EVIL. They brought about a twisted world based on greed. EVEN OHNOKI states that they have "lost themselves" as Gaara said.
Sasuke's decision to kill the Kage is likely the tip of the iceberg. He intends to destroy the Tailed Beasts, obviously and the Sage. Ninjutsu is TOO DANGEROUS to exist in this world. Sasuke's plan is fully rational, and totally justified.
The Sage of the Six Paths is little more than a benevolent dictator, a nutcase that's declared himself God and created a corrupt system, and as Madara infamously said "A failed world"
Argue it all you want. Naruto DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE HOKAGE as it stands now. Why? Naruto Uzumaki is naive and needs to realize what being a leader takes. It means standing up to your friends, even if you must kill them for your dream, as Hashirama did and resolved to die with Madara.
Naruto vs Sasuke was destined to happen, even as the Frog Sage himself said. Sasuke is right to quesiton the Sage's ambitions. What happened to Hamura? Why kill your own mother? Something about this guy just doesn't add up.
Naruto Uzumaki, a naive child in an orange jumpsuit, does *not* deserve to lead the world yet. He lacks the maturity, disposition and leadership skills for it. He also lacks the intelligence to do it alone.
Point #2: Sasuke is not evil

He wants to create a new system, a new village. Frankly speaking, he's right to do so. The old village system FAILED THE WORLD and nearly got humanity wiped out entirely.
Killing the Go-Kage
They deserve to die. Why? They sold out Naruto. Ay isn't evil? Bull, he was ready to murder Naruto and other children to "save the world". Tsunade isn't evil? Horse crap, she wrote off the entire First Division when Madara appeared. Ohnoki not evil? Even he admits he "lost himself". Gaara is arguably the only good Kage, and even then he murdered plenty of people as Gaara of the sand.
Sasuke isn't the real criminal here. The system itself has failed. Madara was right to criticize the world the Sage created. Because the Sage is, like the Christian God, a hypocritical tyrant.
