I think Sasuke is gonna leave Konoha again (after the last battle with Naruto, manga 692)
Kaguya will appear again in the movie, and Naruto won't be able to defeat her, and then...Sasuke will appear and help Naruto.

The anime will not end in December. It is not possible. People in the US will have the closest to the end of the anime lined up with the movie. Japan will get spoiled on the end.
