I was so ready for it. I was so ready to be trolled by Kishimoto last week. All those evil Hagoromo theories and their wonderful discussions of Buddhist philosophy. And what did we get? Touchy-feely moments.

But I am still holding hope for this manga and for the trolling. Kishimoto was obviously luring us into a false sense of security last week. The war is over, edo tensei is released, everyone is coming to an understanding!

I never got the hype over Spiral Zetsu (like he was straight a creation of Madara's, right?). BZ was the ultimate troll of the 'zetsus' and I'm sorry to see the end of his snarky ass. It would be a good troll though.

I'm not even sure you can call Sasuke acting against the Sage a betrayal. So much points to the Sage being evil or untrustworthy. Plus, logically speaking the Tailed Beasts are monsters. Their existence causes all manner of suffering, war and ridiculous stuff in the Narutoverse. Sasuke's pretty well justified in his belief that they need to go... And most of the Gokage would agree and see the TB as monsters.

Eh, I don't think we are. Seems kind of like a denial that Naruto is ending situation. The end is so close now, and that's all there is to it.

It doesn't feel like a good end. It's sloppily done and subpar for Kishimoto. I don't believe he would end Naruto like this. It is too seamless, there's much to be developed. And we don't know what the new era of Naruto is about besides the movie.

This fandom has been overanalyzing things for years, only to be proven right years later. The mark of a great work is that it can be looked into and turned around. Yeah, pissy attitudes are bad, but the theory making shows people care.
