Good to know his genjutsus can be broken with pain. Anyway, Kurenai would rule the world with her genjutsu now that Itachi's dead. Notice she wasn't there to fight Madara or Kaguya? She would had genjutsu GG'd them.

i dont think it really matters HOW you break out of a genjutsu attack, whats important is that you do. Itachi is praised across the world for his genjutsu. breaking out of his no matter how is a feat beyond feats
