Why did Kishimoto never explain hand signs? How does jutsu creation work?

Why does moving my fingers/hands in certain positions cause certain things to happen? Like if I made the signs for giant fireball, why does fire suddenly appear in my throat?

How does jutsu creation work? Do people just experiment with making different hand signs and hope for a jutsu to come out of it? lol. Or do people make the jutsu, then program hand signs for it to activate? Which how would that make sense either.

Does that mean Hagoromo moved his hands in some weird positions one day, and boom started inventing jutsu everywhere lol.

Why is it called quick sand if it sucks you in slowly?

Some things should be left alone....

Kishimoto basically dropped hand signs anyway lol.

The last time he ever drew someone performing hand signs was when he had Madara shoot fire at the Shinobi Alliance.

If Kishimoto explained the logic behind jutsu, hand seals, and summonings, that would just give him more things to retcon and more rules to break. He can barely keep up with the rules of Naruto as it is.

I would had liked more explanation of handseals, particularly since some characters (Kakashi) have a fighting style that includes reading handseals and anticipating their functions.

So far, all I remember being said is Snake = Doton, and Tiger = Katon.

Apparently the hand signs are what "kneads" the chakra together to form the jutsu. They reference to it a couple of times as "kneading."

Each sign focuses your chakra in a certain way. The combination of certain hand signs causes a chain reaction in your chakra that you control into a jutsu. It's pretty simple if you think for 5 seconds.

It's pretty easy to think up an ass pull in 5 seconds ;)

Similar to Buddhist/Hindu mudras (hand positions) each hand position focuses a different type of chakra or energy.

Interesting, not surprising Kishi basing it off some sort of ancient ideology.

It's the same as casting a spell. Certain words and movements are required for it to work.

When you have a KKG, that's different since it's an innate ability, not one you have to create.
