the problem with yaata mirror is that the Itachi fandom abuse Kishi not showing the limits of the mirror on panel in order to extrapolate the mirrorʻs hyperbole to its literal meaning.

Raikiri was stated to be able to cut through anything
A wind blade was stated to be unstoppable
Sandaime raikageʻs body was stated to be able to withstand any ninjutsu
Even neji said ʻchakra constructs become meaningless in front of my jyuukenʻ
a complete FRS was stated to have destructive power that canʻt be imagined.

Yaata is no different, it simply never got the chance to go up against something strong enough to break it as the greatest thing its been tested with was a couple of paper bombs.

These weapons were created in the spirit world. Weapons that are leagues above those used even by the Sage of Six Paths.

The Juubi was said to swallow oceans and tear apart continents, and that has been shown to be true, so how can you possibly say these ethereal tools do not live up to their hype when we have not seen it?
