The difference is.... he found out the truth when he shouldn't supposed too, all due to Obito, Obito caused so many problems its uncountable, how Naruto forgave him is beyond me. True but, Naruto still lived a good life despite Obito killing his parents.

Sasuke was scarred for life and lived life full of hatred all just to find out his brother was secretly good. Infact, even though Itachi is good it still is pretty cruel to put your own brother through something like that.

I think the official trans was: "Obito .. he wanted to become the Hokage ... to me its nothing but awesome" or something like that. Which kinda suggests that Naruto was referring to Kid Obito .... not unlike how Sasuke was referring to Pre Massacre Itachi.
