Yama wouldn't even need his bankai in this fight, though I'm not even sure would he need his shikai in this match up.

Yamamoto withouh his zanpakuto is already comparable to Aizen, Unohana couldn't do anything against Aizen.

Because Aizen is dirty player, not just that he did suicede attack he needed to hold his hand in the process.

The difference is that there is different translation of what Unohana said, on top of that, we know her statament is vague, since feats don't say that she is stronger + she already said that she can't do anything again Aizen.

No the whole purpose of grabbing aizen was to prevent him from useing ks.
