MangaPanda isn't credible at all, since it is known to have inaccurate translations. Also, what does it look like to you what happened? His rod clearly redirected the direction of the jutsu.

You misunderstand the meaning of neutralise. Nuetralise, simply put, means to render something completely ineffective through some method or means. He did not completely nullify the Lightning technique, he simply redirected it.

onmyoudon nullifies ninjutsu, Edo 4th's arm didn't regenerate after Obito JJM ripped it off.. Only thing to work against onmyoudon is senjutsu or just taijutsu

If Madara did not use sage jutsu, maybe Naruto's gudodamas nullify it. Since it was Sage jutsu, he just redirected it.
