Why are people blaming Ay's arm injury on Sasuke and how is it a disrespecful act?

It was Ay's stupidity that got his arm burned as he decided to continue and charge forward like a twisted behemoth.

If Ay didn't want to lose his arm, then he should have stopped, the moment he saw the flames.

Hell, you even see in further scans that he was about to land a kick on Sasuke, knowing that the flames are spreading. Even Gaara told him that he would have been destroyed if he would have continued. So what, would you have blamed Ay's missing leg and the rest of his body on Sasuke as well knowing Ay's retarded decisions?

That would be like me walking into a mine field full of bombs in uncharted territory knowing that their are bombs present but I still decide to proceed. It's completely asinine.


Furthermore, why do people always include "Well, Sasuke cut off Ay's arm" in every list when it involves Sasuke's bad deeds during the Hokage summit? Are people really that desperate where they have to count a missing arm as something bad, when there have been plenty of things far worse and it has been dismissed.

Have you heard of a thing called following or not letting the target escape. Sasuke had no way out of that fight his only choice was to fight Raikage.

That was enton not Amaterasu Amaterasu is stronger when the user is focusing on the target unlike enton.

Well, they're not necessarily wrong on the Kage part, a lot of shinobi still have that event fresh in their minds, and up until he arrived on the battlefield (And maybe right now), people were happy if he was persecuted for that act. Along with his efforts, Sasuke needs time so people can stop seeing the negative in him and his acts.

It's Sasuke's fault, he just commited a crime against the Cloud village when he infiltrated the village, used genjutsu on a civilian and attacked and captured Bee (A thought Bee was captured at the time). Sasuke was viewed as an Akatsuki member since he was spotted with the Akatsuki cloak and doing what they do, trying to capture the Jinchuuriki. Sasuke then goes to a private neutral zone when he's viewed as a criminal like they would let him do as he please. Sasuke knows they saw him since he beat up a search team from the Cloud village when they found where he was.

Sasuke's evil deeds led to what happened and try rereading, Gaara never said A would be destroyed he said he would have lost a leg and that he stopped A because he wanted to talk to Sasuke so it was Sasuke who was going to be killed since if his only goal was to talk to Sasuke then he wouldn't have done anything. They weren't alliance at that point and A was just talking bad to him and the other Kages and he wouldn't risk getting in A's way when it could bring problems to his village. Plus the chapter starts off is this the end of Sasuje's hatred? So everything points to Sasuke dying and A only losing a leg.

The kage part is forgotten about once Sasuke started helping the alliance fight the Juubi etc but saying it's his fault Ay lost his arm isn't true like OP said Raikage was the hot headed one charging recklessly in without thinking because he thought Sasuke captured Bee.
