Habaki appears in front of the designated training grounds as he proceeds to slice a random tree in half with two beams of light.
Alright, so as you can see, this is a very simple technique. It merely consists of a lightning infused kick that releases two concentrated beams of lightning at fast speeds. The beams are able to slice through most solid objects within reason. The downside to the attack is that, once it cuts anything, it will come back towards the user. Although not necessarily a downside, this means that this technique is like a double edged sword. The positive note about this technique is that, considering it's rank, its quite fast and hard to anticipate depending on the situation. That being said, I will ask you that you please do not abuse it's potential power and strength in battle.
Another positive note about this technique is that if your opponent happens to avoid the technique and later comes to strike you at close range, depending on his angle he would have to fend off the attack once more as it begins to travel back towards its initial location.

Description: By doing a simple kick the user shoots out two powerful beams of lightning at great speeds being able to slice through solid objects or cut down attacks. As soon as the beam is launched and makes contact with anything it will come back towards the user like a boomerang and disperse.

♦ Must have mastered lightning.
♦ No lightning techniques of S-Rank or above for one turn after the use of this technique.

Do your legs get shrouded in lightning prior?
When it returns, do I need to dodge it or catch it?
If I use it against an earth tech, and it cuts, will it automatically come back or does it reach a certain distance before returning?

Think of it as if your leg was covered in water or mud and you simply kicked the substance off you, thus releasing it forward. This would act the same way, once you perform the technique, the beams would release from said leg. Btw, its only one leg, not both. So to answer your question more directly, no your leg isn't covered in lightning or anything of the sort, it simply releases it from it once the kick is performed. Which in turn is what makes this technique a bit deadly depending on it's usage. Hence why I ask you that you do not abuse it please.
Once it completes the cut, it comes back towards you. Once it reaches the leg in which you released it from it disperses by itself so there would be no need to defend against it.

Ah ok makes sense, and don't worry, I don't abuse jutsu.
Mine is also simple, coat your sword in lightning and spin, as you spin release the lightning to create an outwards ring.
It's stated that is used against speed people but I need to elaborate. This tech only works as they use it, like as the xhakra shrouds an eig yser you need to use this, if they ate already moving then this jutsu won't work unless they are not making ab line straight at you. I'm on my phone so sorry for short reply, any questions?
