Naruto's Art bad?

Its good alright but compared to the likes of One Piece and Berserk Kishimoto's art sucks.

Kishimoto indeed has produced some incredible works of art in Naruto.

The manga's art is gorgeous, especially the panel when Sasuke was first entering the battlefield, the one of the mountain scenery with the footprints. That was truly a work of art. Kishi has always done a PHENOMENAL job with detailing and backgrounds, and just general characters aesthetics and wardrobing.

Dude, the one with mountain scenery with the alliance footprints and it's raining with the sun coming out...that was too damn good. I love that panel.

You should Look back to some of the first chapters and look at the art. Kishis art style has improved so much since the beginning, it's really impressive.

One of the things I like about kishis art is his use of negative space (the white parts). He makes his frames hyper detailed but not over the top - it really shows his restraint as an artist. This is the main issue I have with oda's art, there's is just too much going on to the point I lose track of what I'm supposed to be looking at.

I like both the anime's and manga's art. For example, the Obito vs Kakashi episode was wonderful to me. And the manga is really good too, I never see a bad drawing.

I haven't watched the anime but I have seen images from it along with complaints. Wasn't it the depiction of a face distortion due to wind/speed?

OT: Naruto's artwork is below average for me. Most of the panels aren't even detailed properly and there's a lot of white space that isn't filled up properly. Also the Naruto character deigns for most characters look similar:

side note: I watched the one piece anime before progressing onto reading the manga and the art was so bad I lost interest after about 4 chapters. There's too much going on at once in one piece panels, the art is really messy.
