How do they counter Genjutsu? A regular ST is not even going to be capable of destroying a Ribcage Susano'O, a strong ST like the one he used against the Toads might be able to destroy Ribcage Susanoo but nothing more then that.

Itachi wins this. He uses Amaterasu on Deva Path to force him to use ST and then blitzes Preta Path during the cool down. From there he overwhelms Deva Path with Susanoo or CQC.

How do they counter Genjutsu? A regular ST is not even going to be capable of destroying a Ribcage Susano'O, a strong ST like the one he used against the Toads might be able to destroy Ribcage Susanoo but nothing more then that.

Itachi has no intel on the Paths, and he of course would not use Amaterasu at the start, and if he decides to use it later in the battle when he has collected intel on the paths, he would use on the Deva like you said, but blitzing the Preta Path would not be as simple as you make it seem.

The Preta Path is certainly no pushover and it wouldn't just be a shunshin slash GG scenario, and even if he did manage to defeat the Preta Path, he would suffer the backlash from Amaterasu and be vulnerable to a Bansho Tenin/Chakra reciever combo.

A regular S/T wouldn't do much to Susano'o but the Deva Path was capable of using a Shinra Tensei that took out 3 Boss summons in a matter of seconds. The power of a charged up one would be devastating.

The visual link just means that both of them will be under then effects of Tsukuyomi after just one of them looks at his eyes, although I don't think Itachi wins this because of Genjutsu.

Of course it will, Preta does not have better reflexes then Bee, and we are talking about the guy who can exchange hits with KCM Naruto.

Preta is arguably the slowest path, besides maybe Nakara Path. Deva Path is the quickest so Itachi can't blitz it, but he can most certainly blitz Preta. BT gets countered by Susanoo from close range.

Like I said, a regular ST won't do anything. But the one used against the Toads could probably destroy Ribcage Susanoo, nothing more.

itachi cant speedblitz deva path during his cooldown ,he kept up with 6 tails naruto and made it run before him

genjutsu needs eye contact ,also they have rinningan ,i amnot sure if ocular ginjutsu can work on them considering that rinningan can counter IT
