What change or "what if" scenario would you like to have seen in the Harry Potter story?

Harry Actually learning to use magic.
99% of the story is him running for "He who should not be named"...

I won't change anything ,but JKR never really went into much detail about magic into the series, which i really hate.Plus the last few movies felt really rushed ,edited and well simply put, sucked.

I always wondered what the story would have been like if Sirius would have been proven innocent at the time Voldy killed Lily and James and than Raised Harry as his godfather

Also i would love it if Lupin hadn't died

I'd make Harry Potter a different actor.

Harry fighting Voldemort in an epic battle. And also the Time Turner because if something like that actually excited there is zero chance it wouldn't have been used after book 3.

Some of these people obviously only watched the movies and never read the books. The only problem I had is that Harry only used a couple of spells mainly expelliarmus instead of learning more combative magic spells but he must later on seeing as he becomes an auror

They did have an epic battle especially in the books and they destroyed all of the time turners during the Minstry of Magic fight in book 5

But that doesn't describe why they never would have used them in the past to deal with Voldemort killing people or I don't know maybe stopping Bellatrix from torturing Neville's parents into insanity.

Or even using it as a spying tool. Why if your Dumbledore in Goblet Of Fire don't you get a Time Turner and see who put Harry's name in it?

The problem with Time Turner is it was effectively used for a singular purpose in the series but it was poorly thought out about for the wider ramifications. Because there are endless possibilities if a power like this actually existed.

And just by the way I have read these books countless times and I love the series and the Time Turner has never stopped my enjoyment of the series but objectively it is plot breaking

I can agree with you and wasn't saying you weren't a fan unlike some of these people. I'm thinking they didn't use them because maybe they were new or they only members of the unspeakables could use them or something

It being something new would have helped but it's never stated that it is new Magic Technology and that would have been an easy fix plot wise and I think also if there was a restriction like it could turn time back only so far but it can seemingly turn back time indefinitely.

Yeah maybe it can only go back 12 hours with only having 12 numbers on a clock? Some objects like the Time Turner and the veil where Sirius died should've been explained more
