Is it wrong to not like a certain ethnicity?

I'm not a fan of Filipinos, or Hawaiians. I went to High school in Hawaii, and they were always the one acting like the thugs in the school. Most of the ones that I met at my part time job back in Hawaii were usually really rude to everyone, and were the almost exclusively the ones we caught shoplifting.

I have met a few good ones over the years, but it seems the vast majority are just...holy ****, all the black stereotypes apply to them. That, and they almost always say the N word. Shit, they aren't black.

And I was born in Oahu will a Hawaiian/peurtirican Mom, and Caucasian dad. I lived in one of the poorer neighborhoods, all my schools were filled with them, so don't say that I'm just ignorant.

If you've had a traumatic experience with them in the past EX: A Black man's mother was raped and killed in front of him by the KKK, then you have a legitimate reason to hate a race, and I really can't blame you. But there is really no other reason to hate another race besides that, excluding people with mental illness ofc.

I don't hate them. I just, don't really like them. Again, I have met a few who are actually pretty cool, but the majority that I have encountered are just douchebags. I know that the real majority aren't, but those I've encountered are, y'know? It's not to the extent that I'll forbid my children from marrying one, or that I'll shoot a defenseless teenager, but again experience has led me to mainly see them as *******s who hate white people.

Without study on person after person, and literally everyone of them, which even then is not likely to equal 100% of them all.


But I can accept anyone saying something along the lines of "The majority of [insert-race] are usually vile"
So long as it's backed up by something reasonable, and experience, otherwise it's just gibberish .

Their ways of life is not like yours.
Different country has different culture, behavior and how they are raise; and include ethnicity
For example; Naruto manga; Parents will always think that Naruto was the tailed-beast itself, not human.
When Children ask their parents (who was that child), and will listen to what the parent said about Naruto (avoid him).
There are many ways, whether u join them or not.
1. Observe ur target group, how they behave (in or out school), etc
2. Join them; (try not to use Sai method). And observe (this, u are in the group).
Finally, make your own decision on whether to join or not. U need to know yourself on ur likes or dislike.
Sometimes, people will approach u and ask u to join them, so there is no need to hurry to make friends
When u do join them, dismiss any difference in culture, religion (both are very dangerous, include argument) etc.
Don't let them 'use' you, (when Naruto wanted to join the group, making Naruto go to forest "battlefield")

My only friend in that neighborhood was an older Asain kid, mainly because every other kid there was poor, some form of minority, and trying to act black and doing drugs all the time.

I dnt know.Generalizing people for individuals or something happened in an isolated situation is nt right. But then again some people have similar life styles and attitudes,have organizations. People here like damn Muslims for everything and they act like they deserve it.

This. Just because few are bad doesn't mean yhe rest are. That's what I taught my friends who introduced me to racist skinheads. The two racists didn't like me at first, but soon they said I was the coolest black guy they met after getting to know me.

Sadly people will generalize and not know that ethnicity is no decider for the general behaviour of all individuals of it.
I would say ignorant if you choose to ignore this and continue that dislike for a whole ethnic group.

You should try not generalise a race based on the actions of a few. That will make your experience with other races much more pleasant on average since you won't be bound by those prejudices. Although technically speaking,practically everyone is "racist" to some extent since it's natural to slightly favour your own race over others.(inadvertently or not)
